These hydraulic cylinders are designed to use internal LVDT or magnetostrictive linear transducers. They can be provided with valve blocks complete with proportional valves, accumulators, servo valves, pressure transducers and load cells. Unlike the SC servo cylinders, they have a hydrodynamic pressure reduction system on the rod and piston (as an alternative to seals). This solution guarantees that speeds of up to 20m/sec and frequencies of up to 90 Hz can be obtained. The rod is supported by guide rings.
